The REAP (Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan) plan to organize a Biryani Festival next month in China as they want to introduce their Basmati rice in Chinese Society, said Mohammad Anwar Mianoor, Vice Chairman REAP.
Safdar Hussain, REAP Chairman, on the occasion said that the government is considering every sector to become better than before. He further added that it is the responsibility of the exporters to increase exports and support us.
While addressing the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP), Imran Ismail – Governor Sindh has announced to organize Biryani Festival in Karachi annually. Furthermore, the festival will be hosted in the Governor house. He also said that this will become an annual tradition as well. He further added that it will be an open invitation for everyone to come and join biryani festival.
Matlab Dawat-e-aam hai???
In Pakistan, we all have seen many food festivals. I remember last time I attended the food festival in Fortress Square Roof Top, Lahore. It was good. But the most exciting feature about this biryani festival is that it would be official festival held my Governor Sindh in Karachi or phir Imran Ismail ho or Khana Peena Na Ho…!
Ismail guaranteed that the government will help increase rice exports to $4 billion, adding that “the government wants to aid farmers, industrialists and exporters. Rice exporters are the country’s breadwinners and the doors of Governor House are always open for them”.
Does government means, biryani khao exports barhao? Well, I think Pakistani people are biryani lovers and to increase the rice export, Sindh Governor thought that it would be the best idea to increase the rice export.
