Celebrities All Over Pakistan Are Jumping On The “Celebrity Insecurity” Band Wagon And We Are Proud!!

What started off as a mere heartfelt disclosure of a personal struggle by Hania Amir, became the talk of the town within a night. Model turned actor, Hania Amir recently took to social media to discuss about her constant tussle with self esteem due to forever lasting acne. She wrote on Instagram about how having acne was a major confidence downer for her.  She talked about how people don’t really realize what popular faces go through as they only get to hear one side of the story.

Hania’s post on Instagram gathered some momentum right after it was released. People all over Pakistan including the celebrities were nothing but praise for her, accentuating on the fact that celebrities are also humans and can have self esteem issues as well.  While Yasir Hussain had a bit of a criticism coming his way for taking the mickey out of Hania, many famous artists came in support of Hania discussing their personal struggles. The very first one to defend her was the Bol actress Mahira Khan. She applauded Hania for being brave and standing up for something that truly needs to be out there.

Another major celebrity who recognized Hania’s struggle was Nadia Hussain. She shared a throwback of her unfiltered and “as real as it can get” photo to continue preaching what she has always believed in. The list of famous artists doesn’t end here as Saira Shehroz, Zara Noor Abbas, Mehvish Hayat, Sofia Khan, Saba Qamar, Meesha Shaafi, and Usman Mukhtar were also extremely proud of Hania.

This is not the first time that A-List celebrities have come out in the limelight to share their personal struggles. Many Hollywood actresses have come forth with their struggles with acne. Artists like Lil Reinhart from Riverdale, Miley Cyrus, Keira Knightly, Model Chrissy Teigen, and Bella Thorne have all posted on Instagram and Snapchat regarding their bad skin days and breakouts just like any normal person.

Not only them, but people right across the border have been really open about the other side of the glamour world that opens up to completely different reality. Bollywood Fashion Queen Sonam Kapoor started the #IDIDNOTWAKEUPLIKETHIS. Her post was really appreciated by people all over the world belonging to this industry. This not only opened up doors for other women and men to come up with their personal struggles but also helped them to get their inner selves out there, up in the open.
