Even the High Commissioner of Canada to Pakistan loves Hunza!

The Northern Areas of Pakistan are the new it place. They have been the talk in the tourism space for quite a while now. The snowy peaks, the friendly people, and the delicious foods are all things to look forward to when you reach Hunza. The Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Wendy Gilmour is the newest person to enjoy her trip to Hunza. She is having the most amazing time enjoying the natural scenery and the fresh atmosphere of the place. Not only that, she has also been actively coaching hockey to young girls and boys. The Winter Sports Festival is providing her all the support she needs in connecting with the people and communicating with the kids.
Ms. Gilmour has been working tirelessly to bring a positive environmental change in Pakistan. Her trip to the North has been an opportunity where she talked about empowering the community to move to a better solid waste management system. She visited the Attabad Lake and discussed the developing application of waste disposal management. Her inventive efforts also involved visiting the famous Hussaini Suspension bridge and inspiring young women to contribute more actively in adventure happenings.
Individuals like Ms. Gilmour are doing so much to make Pakistan a better place. When we get such opportunities, we should also use them and turn them into something positive. Next time you go on a recreational trip to the North, do make sure you contribute to the projects going on there and support them in whatever way you can.
