Fakhr-e-Alam to pilot a plane and on the verge of setting a world record!

Who wouldn’t want to take an airplane for himself on a long adventure? Sounds very cool isn’t it? Fakhr-e-Alam, who is a singer, actor and TV-host, is going to live this dream for 28 days by taking off on a plane himself, on a mission that he call ‘Mission Parwaaz’.
He will begin his journey on 6th October from Clear Water in Florida, USA and will journey for 26,000 nautical miles in 28 days in a single engine aircraft.
Alam said that it was very difficult to fulfill this dream as he had less than 100 hours of flight experience but despite being rejected for three years, numerous conspiracies, and no support from Pakistan, he finally managed to get himself ready for the journey.
If he successfully completes this journey, he will be making a world record of being the first Pakistani to fly around the world alone. According to his tweet, “If I succeed I will become the 1st Pakistani in the history of the world to do so.”
According to the Mission Parwaaz, Alam will also fly across Pakistan and will visit Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi airports as well. He will end his journey from where he began. He will land on more than 30 airports around the world for maintenance of the aircraft and refueling.
The plane he is going to use is Pilatus PC-12. It is a single engine turboprop aircraft that was manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft, Switzerland.

Around two hundred people have attempted flights like these around the globe. Babar and Haris Suleman made such an attempt in order to raise money for schools, their journey ended in a tragic plane crash on 23rd July, 2014.
Let us pray that Fakhr-e-Alam fulfills his journey safely and make us proud as Pakistanis. Wish him luck with all your hearts.
