Foreign TV shows have also gained a huge popularity by airing on Netflix. Here are my top three picks of foreign TV shows that might interest you:
- Sacred Games (Indian)
Sacred games is the first Netflix original series in India. The story revolves around Sartaj Singh played by Saif Ali Khan. He is a troubled police officer in Mumbai. He receives a phone call from gangster Ganesh Gaitonde acted by the famous Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Ganesh tells Sartaj to save the city within 25 days. The series chronicles the events that follow. The second season of the series is also up on Netflix. The stories of both the seasons are interlinked so this is a great show to binge watch on a weekend.
- Casa de Papel (Money Heist) (Spanish)
A mysterious man known as “The Professor” helps train a dozen young, money-hungry criminals to pull off the largest bank heist in history. The series keeps you hooked to your seat until the very last minute. It is shot in one main location, the Royal Mint of Spain in Madrid.
