Jasim Haider & The Pindi Boys & A Turkish Musician

Pakistan is no slouch when it comes to producing some of the most talented music artists. From pop sensations such as Atif Aslam, to the more traditional singers such as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the country has seen a massive amount of following worldwide. Recently though a new trend seems to be emerging, that which consists of Indie Bands producing their music in various genres.
As seen in many places around the world, including the one at home between Pakistan and India, music has no boundaries, even some of the staunchest rivalries come to a halt to appreciate the joy and peace good music can bring. If there is anything that can bring people together and remove the differences between cultures it has to be music!
The Band ‘Jasim Haider & the Pindi Boys’ displays this phenomenon in their new cover of the song ‘Ankho Ko Ankho Ne’ originally by Junaid Jamshed. Getting together with an artist from Turkey, Ozan Tura who plays a sensational flute, the vocalist Nimra Rafiq, they recreate the song with their own original essence and a mix of two cultures. It is not the first time that The Pindi Boys have dabbled into such creative endeavors. The song that got them popularity was also named ‘Pindi Boys’, and as such went pretty viral across Pakistan. Usually producing songs that would fit in the Blues genre, the band continues to impress its followers. Now a step into cross-country music has made many people more excited for what’s to come.
