Time and again, women have proved that they are so much more than good homemakers. They have made Pakistan proud by taking every opportunity, and turning it into something better. The latest of such names is that of Kiran Sadhwani. She belongs from Thar where most women either leave their education at an early age, or opt for medical professions. When asked why Kiran had chosen engineering as a career, she replied that she did not choose medical or any other field because she found vast opportunities in engineering to pursue. She knew that becoming an engineer would not only make her happy, it would give her a chance to explore her talents in greater depth. She had always had a love for science and physics was her all-time favorite. Kiran wants to prove to everyone that girls should be allowed to do whatever they can because they have the talent for it.
She is also breaking norms and changing stereotypes by working alongside men on the coal project. Kiran has definitely set an enormous example for young girls around her. Engineering is not anymore a male centric profession; females are flourishing within the field and Kiran is a staunch example. To all the females out there who want to do what they love and make a career in it, follow Kiran’s footsteps and make us proud.
