Memorizing the Quran by listening to it on radio? A five-year-old blind boy has done it!

When humans have a will, they find a way to get the job done. No matter the age, no matter the place, and no matter the obstacle, when we put our mind to it, we can achieve anything we want. The latest of these achievements is credited to a five-year-old boy. Hussein Mohammed Tahir, belonging from Saudi Arabia, has memorized the Holy Quran within 3 years just by listening to it on the radio. The boy was born blind but this did not come in the way of his love for Islam. The most surprising bit of all? His parents didn’t even know he was learning the Quran in the first place! They were as surprised as we all are. They are also extremely proud of their kid who at such a young age has done what most people cannot in their whole lives.

Speaking on the matter, Mr. Tahir, Hussein’s father, stated, “I didn’t even imagine that this child would benefit from the radio by memorizing the Quran. This makes me forget all the hardships he endured over the years, having been born blind and with some disability in a hand.” He has now admitted Hussein to Quran memorization circle where children with disabilities get special attention to learn thr Quran.
