Pakistan Air Force selects Rahul Dev as the first Hindu GD Pilot!

In these trying times, any small good news is worth sharing and any big good news is a treat in itself. Sharing one of the bigger good news, a government official Mr. Rafique Ahmed Khokhar working at the Interior Ministry, tweeted that Pakistan Air Force (PAF) had selected Rahul Dev as the General Duty (GD) pilot in the squad. What makes this news so interesting is that Dev is the first Hindu to get to that rank in PAF. He hails from a small village of Tharparkar in Sindh. It is because of his hard work and dedication that he has been able to reach this point in his life. Taking to Twitter, many noteworthy people shared the happy picture of Rahul standing beside an aircraft and smiling broadly. They congratulated him on this feat and wished him the best for the future. Rahul will surely be an excellent pilot and will do wonders in the skies.
It must also be noted that giving minorities such positions is not only a confidence boosting element, but also one that will help Pakistan improve its relations with other countries. The minorities have always faced harsh circumstances especially living in difficult places like Thar. The land is known for its hot weather and inadequate facilities. However, the government has vowed to make life better for these people and give them new and exciting opportunities. We are glad to see that good things are finally happening!
