Pakistan has been termed the most affordable country to live in and we’re shook!
CEOWORLD Magazine is a platform that conducts research and publishes reports on important evaluations. Their latest work was done to find out which country was the most affordable to live in and which was the most expensive. The magazine based its calculation on a variety of living costs. These included accommodation, clothing, taxi fares, utility, internet, the price of groceries, transport, and eating out. Pakistan came out as the most affordable country to live in from among 132 others.

The rankings are created on five major metrics: cost of living, rent, groceries, eating out and purchasing power. The magazine collects and compiles all the data it receives into an index, the New York City as the benchmark. New York was given an index score of 100. Therefore, Pakistan scored 21.98 for cost of living, 4.59 points on rent index, 19.08 points on groceries index, 16.78 points on eating out index and 30.57 points on purchasing power index.
Nine countries from Europe are included in the top 20 expensive countries. Switzerland comes in at number one. Afghanistan, India, Syria, follow Pakistan at the bottom end of the list as the least expensive countries to live in 2020. What do you think about these scores?
