The debate revolving around the ‘ideal’ handsome man is old now. Every year new studies emerge that define handsomeness and try to explain it. They choose famous people from around the world and list them as most to least handsome. While such studies are just for entertainment purposes they do garner a lot of talk value. Unsurprisingly, a new study piloted by cosmetic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva has emerged that addresses this topic. This study is based on Ancient Greece’s Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi. It has found that English actor Robert Pattinson is the most handsome man in the world.
The study discovered that Pattinson has the most perfect eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape when compared to other celebrities. The researcher and his team made this deduction after using the latest computerized mapping techniques to compare faces of celebrities. Mr. De Silva is an expert when it comes to Greek history. He stated that Robert Pattinson was the clear winner. It was very easy to see that all the elements of his face were physically perfect. He also said, “These brand new computer mapping techniques allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful.”
The study also resulted in claiming that Henry Cavill was placed second due to his poor eye spacing. Bradley Cooper has come in the third position due to the shape of his nose. Apart from Pattinson, Caville, and Cooper, the other celebrities who found their spot on the list are Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Hugh Jackman, David Beckham, Idris Elba, Kanye West, and Ryan Gosling. The list did not take into account any Asian or Eastern celebrities, which is a point of discussion in itself.
