The Harry Potter Craze will never die!
A magic love potion or a cloak that makes you invisible? These are just two options that I would love to grab if only I was studying in Hogwarts. However, seeing as that is not possible, students studying in Government College University (GCU) Lahore decided to create their own Hogwarts and live an 84-minutes Harry Potter life. Naming the fan fiction The Last Follower and The Resurrection of Voldemort, the students have outdone themselves in this marvelous creation. The film was premiered at the university and was well received by all the viewers. The magical visuals and inventive and exciting sequences incorporated in the film are nothing short of amazing.
Pakistani youth is extremely talented and every now and then, their work displays this talent. A group of young Ravians who also formed their production house, Khyaali Productions, produced this fan fiction film. They released the trailer last year and it became an instant hit on social media. Fans from all over the world watched and appreciated the trailer and eagerly waited for the whole film to be released.

The writer and director, Waleed Akram, commented on the production by saying that the gothic architecture of GCU pushed him to introduce this new genre in the industry. “I started this venture with a single camera and the whole movie has been shot with this not normal camera. If there is a Hogwarts in this world, it’s GCU Lahore.”
The main cast of the movie includes Umer Darr, Jazib Alram, Mariam Hassan Naqvi, Talha Chahour, Dua Marium, Sheikh Mubashir and Habib Chaudary.
You can find the trailer of the film on YouTube and get in touch with the creative team on Facebook to show them some love.
