Winters are almost here and while it is a relief to finally shut off the fans and AC’s, one big problem still looms over our heads – what to wear in this cold weather? Winter clothes are one tricky issue. While the markets are filled with cute short sweaters and crop tops, you know you won’t be able to wear them to your school, college or workplace. You buy these adorable items and then they just hang in your wardrobe. Fusion clothing is what saves the day.
Fusion clothing is a mix of eastern and western clothes. The desi kurta paired up with those branded jeans, the long skirt balanced with a crop top and a shawl – that’s what you get in fusion clothing. The best part about all this is that fusion clothing helps you save a lot of money. If you are on a budget, you can easily mix it up and get the perfect warm winter outfit.
Remember that Khaadi kurta you got last winters? Pair it up with those new white Mango pants and the cute white sweater from Outfitters and you are good to go. Making up these combinations may take a while and it can be a confusing process, but once you get the hang of things you will be able to use and re-use your old clothes in new ways. Spend less money on buying totally new outfits and more on getting accessories, which make your old outfit appear unique. One thing that I have been doing for the past two winters is changing the color combinations of my outfits. Bright oranges go really well with dark jeans while blacks can be worn with light colored shawls. Do let us know how your fusion clothing goes this winter!
